Wintersports

The snow guaranties lots of fun practising your favourite winter sports activities. Close to the city Munich ensures a ski winter wonderland for everyone. Besides the hundreds of slopes, even for non-skiers there is an amount of things to do.

Skiing areas:

• Spitzingsee
  Train ride with the Bavarian train (BOB) to Schliersee-Neuhaus, then ski bus 9562
  
  
• Lenggries – Brauneck
  Train ride with the Bavarian train (BOB) to Lenggries, then ski bus.
  
  
• Sudelfeld
  Train ride with the Bavarian train (BOB) to Bayrischzell, then ski bus.
  
  
• Zugspitze
  Train ride with the Deutsche Bahn (DB) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then the Zugspitz train
  
  
• Reit im Winkl / Steinplatte
  Train ride with the Deutsche Bahn (DB) to Prien, then bus.

Toboggan Runs:

• Blombergbahn, Bad Tölz
  The toboggan run at Bad Tölz is 1286m long and involves a hair-raising descent of 220m. Take the Bayr. Oberlandbahn (BOB) to Bad Tölz station. RVO-Bus Nr. 9612 towards Kochel.
  
  
• Gaißach, Schwaigeralm
  Beautiful natural tobogganing track. Train ride with the Bavarian train (BOB) to Bad Tölz, then the bus to Gaiβach.
  
  
  

Water adventure parks:

• Therme Bad Wörishofen
  A little bit of south sea magic in the middle of Bavaria. Train ride with the regional Express (DB) to Bad Wörishofen, Bus no. 905 direction: Therme, Bad Wörishofen.
  
  
• Therme Erding
  A waterslide paradise and wellness spa. Train ride with the S2, stop Altenerding, and then bus no. 550, 560 or 570 to Therme Erding.
  
  
• Alpamare Bad Tölz
  Waterslide funpark with plenty of differnet slides. Train ride with S7, stop Wolfratshausen, then bus no. 379 to Bad Tölz Einbach. From there it is a ten minute walk.
  
  
• Wasserskipark Aschheim
• Waterski- and wakeboard-park, volleyball, high rope course. Chil out area "Roberto Beach". Train ride with S2 Erding, stop Feldkirchen , then bus no. 285 to Sportpark Aschheim
  
  
• Eisbachsurfen
  Surfen in der Stadt auf der "stehenden Welle". Direkt am Eingang zum Englischen Garten.
